Physical and occupational therapy are health care services that work with patients to reduce pain, improve function, increase strength, and increase mobility. It can be performed prior to surgery or after surgery. Physical and occupational therapists also work with each patient to develop a specific plan for each patient in order to aide them in reaching their specific goals. Your physical or occupational therapist can provide you with results oriented treatment in any of the following areas: rotator cuff, cervical pain, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel, fractures, headaches, thoracic pain, pre & post-surgical rehabilitation, Parkinson’s Rehabilitative Therapy (LSVT BIG), neurological disorders, women’s health, and knee, hip and back recovery.
